Hello everyone Recent events have led me to move back and away from commitments I made to the Harrow & Wealdstone Scout District. While Andrea and Bernie take a leave of absence to concentrate on some difficult family circumstances I need to focus my full attention on the Group. In time, who knows? I imagine the day will arrive for me to take up my District Commissioner post once again but for now I am happy to to give the 13th/21st Harrow my full attention. To keep the Group functioning and growing I've had a long, hard think about communication... Communication between organisations and their participants is always problematic and our Scout Group is no exception. I'm sure you know and so I won't repeat tales of 'mushroom management' and 'monkeys in a tree' but the implication is real - it is difficult for us to ensure that you receive all the information you need, in the form that you need it and at the time when you need it.
